Let's all stand together against HIV !

Each day in Belgium, three people test positive for HIV. It is important therefore that the population is continuously kept aware of this and wears the little red ribbon as token of solidarity with HIV-infected people. At the occasion of World Aids Day, all people visiting our market this Saturday, 29 November, will receive this red ribbon and a condom for free.

On 1 December, an identical action day will take place in the railway stations of Bruxelles Nord, Central, Luxembourg and Etterbeek.

On 29 November, from midday till 19.00hrs, a gigantic condom will be exposed in front of the Bruxelles Central train station. Inside the condom you can bowl against STD (Sexually Transmitted Diseases). Outside you can get a nice "glühwein" whilst being informed about Sexual Health.

On 1 December you can also take part in a solidarity demonstration organized by "Plate-Forme Prévention Sida". Participants can gather in front of the station of Bruxelles Central as of 16.30hrs, where there will be some musical performances. The departure is scheduled for 18.30hrs and will end at the Brussels town hall, where a drink will be offered to all.

Also pay a visit to the exhibition called “Vie et VIH aujourd’hui” (Life ans HIV Today) and organized by the afore mentioned  "Plate-Forme Prévention Sida", where pictures and testimonials will be shown of people living with HIV.

The exhibition runs from 24 November till 7 December in the railway stations of Bruxelles Nord, Central, Midi et Luxembourg.
